One month ago this precious baby girl was placed in my arm screaming, crying, pushing away and nothing I said or did would take away her pain. She had been taken away from everything she had ever known, put on a bus with a worker she did not know, taken to a city she did not know, and given to a woman she did not know. This is the picture from that precious day.
Here is our precious baby girl one month later
It is so hard to believe that in one month this little girl has blossomed from a petrified, fearful, terrified baby to an energetic, bubbly, happy baby. We are so blessed!!!!

She looks like she's adjusting. How are y'all?
OHMYHECK... she is so adorable! Congrats on the one month mark as a family.
It's amazing what LOVE can do! She is such a cutie! So those of us who are still waiting can find hope we look at your before and after pictures. If our babies are frightened, screaming, crying, and pushing us away, we can come back to your blog and KNOW that things will smooth out......THANKS!
Darci is ABSOLUTELY stunning!!!! She looks like a Darci too. I am glad that she is adjusting well:) BIG Congratulatons!!!!!!
Hugs,
Kim
She's so adorable!! I just love it!! Can't believe a month has gone by!!
Time flies now...
Debbie, you can come as long as you bring your newest little gift, Darci!! Ha! We would love to meet you! you're welcome in Texas anytime!
Libbie is still in China. probably not even born yet. We've known her name for about 6 years!
We live in Baytown which is east of Houston towards Beaumont/Louisiana. We have family in Tulsa and OK City. I know Libbie may not even be born yet, but she's been born in our hearts and that's what matters most. i've already started shopping. I know I shouldn't but.... I can't help myself. I wanted to do a nursery, but if she's two, she may not sleep in a crib. It's hard to really plan anything firm yet.
Oh she is so beautiful!!! What a sweetheart! Praise God! Hoping each day brings new surprises and joys.
Love & Hugs,
Heather
Debbie,
I was just thinking of you and remembering what a rock you were in the middle of that storm. Just what Darci needed even if she didn't know it at the time LOL!
Love ya!

Thanks for visiting The Pearl & The Ruby. Darci is PRECIOUS! I am biased of course, but I just think those Jiangxi girls are sooooo beautiful!!!
Ruby is from Yugan. Her SWI was the Yugan SWI, but she actually was in Foster Care her entire life before we brought her home...
Blessings,
Diana
Darci is such a doll...so glad she is adjusting well!
